I Don’t Do Sarcasm Anymore … I’m Post-Ironic

I’m only here for comic relief.

2008 us elections

It’s about time I mentioned America and how great it is at destroying the world.
George W.(anker) Bush’s idiocy is finally coming to an end, but will he be replaced by another idiot?

Even if you don’t live in America, pretend you do, and pretend you are of voting age. Who would you vote for? Or if you are in America and voted, who did you vote for?

Key
[D] = Democrat
[R] = Republican
OUT = Out of the presidential race

Personally, I’ve got a crush on Obama (see also: Obama vs. Giuliani).
Even though I do want Obama to be the Democratic candidate, I won’t mind if Clinton gets it just as long as in the end a Democrat wins. If the next president is a Republican, I think I will have to go and live on the moon. And I’ll be taking Michael Vartan with me. Think about that, America. Can you really live without seeing Michael’s face on television and in movies again? I don’t think so. Or if that’s not your thing, I’ll also be taking Sarah Shahi. Think long and hard about your decision.

Okay let’s step away from the elections for a moment and just focus on America’s fuckups. I feel like every time I write about the US of A it’s in a negative way. It’s not that I’m hating on you, I’m not! (Maybe just a little). I love America! I have a house in Los Angeles for fuck’s sake. But really? Even you have to admit that you are sucking monkey balls lately.

Please, America. Allow the world to wake up one day and not feel like injecting Americans with high doses of MRSA. That’s all we ask for.

VOTE OBAMA/CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT.

  1. I’ve been a fan of Obama for a long time (I saw his speech, was it in 2004? It was great) and have loved him ever since. Him gracing the covers of GQ and Vogue just made me develop a crush o him though. ;)

  2. I would prefer Obama to Hilary Clinton, but if Obama doesn’t get it I hope Clinton does.
    Unfortunately, I can’t vote.

  3. Who do you think, Botach?

    I’m for Clinton, mainly on a female standpoint because I care so little about politics that I really have no idea about people’s campaign promises etc. I just know democrats = good, republicans = bad. If I WAS actually voting of course I would read up on all this kinda stuff before I made my decision, but it would definitely be for a democrat no matter what. That said, I don’t mind if Hilary or Obama win, I just want one of them to.

    I really liked Bill in the whitehouse, so perhaps that’s lending itself to my decision, too.

    ps: can I have your house in la? :p I didnt know you had one. Jeez, not telling me these past 5+ years.

  4. I’ve been rooting for Obama since before he officially announced his candidacy. Although I don’t want Hillary to win because I think she’s pretty much a Republican, I can handle it if she gets the Democratic nom and wins.. if John McCain is our next President.. I’m moving out of this country.

  5. I would go for either Obama or Clinton. Clinton would probably edge out for me as she has a whole boat load of experience over Obama who is just a little too green.
    Although saying that he is probably less jaded by politics being so new (relatively) to the game.
    Either way, I think both of these could do a far better job than the current or future republican nominees.

  6. Obama just seems like the cool guy, but I pay no attention to policies and all that jazz, so what do I know?
